--When did you start drawing?
Ever since I could hold a marker in my hand. 8D

--Which hand do you use for drawing?
my right hand

--Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Effeminate men or masculine women LOL

--Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Long hair all the way!

--Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Facing left, definitely.

--Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Umm, side view is slightly easier just because I’m bad at making the facial features symmetrical.

--What do you have problems in drawing?
Landscapes, buildings, backgrounds in general. *points at general lack of backgrounds in gallery*

--What do you like to draw?
Foliage, eyes, animals, things and people that do not exist in real life

--Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Mostly digital lately, but I do plan to change that.

--Where do you start drawing from?
A thumbnail of the overall pose, but I guess technically the first place I start working on the final drawing is the face.

--what is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I generally have the same facial structures for a lot of my characters, or at least that’s what people have told me as I work. -________- (not proud of this, because it means all my characters look the same) Something I’ve noticed about myself is that I tend to lean into whatever I’m working on like I’m severely nearsighted or something.

--Any tips for coloring/shading?
Don’t spend too much time in one spot! Direct your attention on the overall image for a more consistent atmosphere. Doing things in small chunks can make the image look sort of cut-and-paste-like.

--How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
It depends on how much I’m into it, but usually about 30 minutes sketching and a few hours on and off to color.

--What music do you listen to while you draw?
I change the music to suit the mood or theme of the drawing I’m going for. Lately I’ve been listening to Kalafina, Coldplay, Chitose Hajime, Keane, and Sound Horizon.

--How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
I just wait for ideas to randomly come on their own and jot them down onto a scrap piece of paper so I can come back to it later.

--Your favorite drawing utensils?
Umm, a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil with HB lead for sketching and details, microns, and a cheap set of watercolor and acrylic paint? (with lots of water)

--Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
GREEN yes... and maybe sepia. I like that too... *BORINGCOLORSWTF*

--Your favorite style(s)?
I draw mostly in a manga style but I love looking at Art Nouveau, Greek and Roman sculpture, and 18th Century French paintings. (My favorite painter is Chardin btw)

--What kind of artist are you aiming for?
One that my future students would be proud of... hopefully.
